Start with a real task
Our reviewer tries a product, records the task and its outcome, and documents what worked and what got in the way. Each review gives you the context behind its scores, including the date and the limits of the test.
A review captures an experience at a point in time. It does not cover every feature or guarantee how a product will work for everyone. Read how we review for more detail.
Two ways to discover products
The sponsored leaderboard gives products a way to pay for visibility. Its order follows each listing’s ranking total, which can include promotional credits from us. Every category has its own sponsored board, using those same totals.
Below it, Explore the reviews lets you browse products, find recent reviews, or compare recorded scores within the same rubric. All products changes its discovery order on refresh; sponsored positions follow the ranking rules.
Visibility and reviews stay separate
Sponsorship does not change a review score, remove a finding, or guarantee a review. A sponsored product can appear before we have reviewed it. The Read review link appears only when a published review is available.
Paying for a position is not an endorsement of the product. Our ranking rules explain placements and boosts.
