A useful review should tell you what happened, how we reached a score, and what we still don’t know.
One product. One real task.
Each record describes a product’s promise, the task tested, the observed outcome, and its review date. Findings and strengths come from the supplied product testing. A review is a dated observation, not a complete assessment of every feature.
Four recorded dimensions.
Clarity, usability, functionality, and UI quality are scored from 0 to 10. We preserve those scores exactly. Missing scores are left blank in product lists and are excluded from rankings.
Equal scores. Shared ranks.
Scores sort from highest to lowest. Tied scores share a rank; alphabetical order only makes the display consistent. Category filters rank within that category.
Keep the cohorts comparable.
Reviews retain their recorded “Official rubric” or “Temporary rubric” label. All products includes published reviews even when a score is missing. Top rated ranks one rubric at a time; choose Official or Temporary to browse each ranking. We do not combine rubric versions into one ranking.
Show the limits.
A paid feature that could not be tested is not automatically a failed feature. Session duration is shown only when recorded. Task results remain verbatim while inconsistent completion fields are reconciled.
Editorial decisions are separate.
A review appears in the directory when it is approved for publication. A sponsored listing can appear without a published review, but payment does not approve a review, change its scores, or remove findings.
Compare within the same rubric
We publish overall scores as recorded rather than recomputing them or filling in missing values. Detailed weighting has not been independently verified, so we do not claim that scores from different rubric versions are equivalent. Read the task, outcome and findings alongside each score.
We do not award certification badges. Payment does not influence review scores or the Top rated order. Sponsored positions use contribution totals, including any promotional credits, as described in the ranking rules.
